Eröffnungsperformances der 29. Int. Bühnenwerkstatt 2020
Im Lauf der Eröffnung zeigen wir die Vielfalt des zeitgenössischen Tanzes und damit auch der kommenden Festivalwoche: Internationale DozentInnen geben dabei kurze Einblicke in ihre Werkstätten.

„For those who care“ Dance work of and for empathy, Tomas Danielis
Tomas Danielis, ein Künstler mit zahlreichen Facetten und außergewöhnlicher Tänzer, wird uns diesmal in seinem neuesten Werk wieder an seiner großartigen Virtuosität in einem getanzten Solo teilhaben lassen.
In a friendly place, I create a space for experimenting with emotions. Analyze the different possibilities of empathy and commitment. What control do I have over my emotional self during this act? What opens me emotionally, what makes me connect with others and with myself while I dance?
How do I create a dance that can allow me to bear witness and respond to the needs of others? And my own needs? What a person can offer for the life of the other.
How can I process that I go through alone and together with others, build and integrate new situations from a physical, emotional or spatial lexicon? What is my identity out there, on stage in front of the people?
