Fish Smoking Cigarettes

The Pennyless Players are proud to present…well, something a little
(completely) different! Our next production Fish Smoking Cigarettes will feature five different absurdist short plays over the span of four differently structured evenings.

The plays will be split into two sets. One evening will present Corkscrew! by Lucy Gossler, Prelude & Fugue State by Muireall Chilcote, and The Zoo Story by Edward Albee. On the second evening we’ll delight you with Vaclav Havel’s Unveiling and a yet to be announced secret fifth play.

Join us for four evenings of surrealism, laughter and insightfulness,
featuring: Breaking and entering. The most annoyingly regular couple on the planet. Feminism. Violence. A big black dog (small in size).
And vampiric sex god Franz Kafka, champion of capitalism. Fish and Cigarettes not included. Or are they? Come by to find out!
