ARAD DABIRI - LEBENLIFEHAYAT!

D | Ein Kind in der Mitte, schlafend, still. Drumherum ein
Chor, der sich einschwört auf das bevorstehende Ritual:
Das Kind müsse geopfert werden, die Vernunft über das
Mitgefühl siegen, die Gemeinschaft durch die Opferung
gerettet werden. Dann wacht das Kind auf. Es spricht,
fragt, klagt an: Welchen Wert hat eine Gesellschaft, die
meint, den brutalen Ausschluss anderer für ihr Fortbestehen
zu benötigen?
Aus einer archaischen Grundsituation heraus lässt Arad
Dabiri auf den Status quo humanistischer Prinzipien
in der Welt blicken. LEBENLIFEHAYAT! ist ein langes
Gedicht, es ist ein längst überfälliger Aufschrei in einer
Welt, die bereits brennt, in der aber auch der Funke der
Hoffnung entzündet wurde, in der auch die Suche nach
zukünftigen Erzählungen begonnen hat: dies ist ein
neuer Anfang, ein Neubeginn, ein Re-Start.

E | A child in the center, asleep, silent. Around it, a chorus,
swearing itself in to the impending ritual: the child must
be sacrificed, reason must triumph over compassion, the
community must be saved through the sacrifice. Then the
child awakens. It speaks, asks, accuses: What value does a
society have that believes it needs the brutal exclusion of
others for its continued existence?
From this archaic starting point, Arad Dabiri offers a
glimpse into the status quo of humanistic principles
in the world. LIFELIFEHAYAT! is a long poem, a long
overdue outcry in a world already ablaze, but in which the
spark of hope has also been ignited, in which the search
for future narratives has begun: this is a new beginning, a
fresh start, a reboot.
