Künstlergespräch Damir Zizic and Kristian Kozul (Zagreb)
DAMIR ŽIŽIĆ und KRISTIAN KOŽUL (ZAGREB)
Damir Žižić (*1983, Split) and Kristian Kožul (*1975, Munich) form the artistic tandem Žižić/Kožul. In their practice, the artists combine Damir Žižić´s expertise in the field of photography and new media with Kristian Kožul´s knowledge of sculpture. It enables the tandem to create works that function as a concise "mise en scène" and offer the viewer an almost film-like presentation of a specific concept. As guests of the Styrian Government, Žižić/Kožul have been spending a one month Styrian-Artist-in-Residence Scholarship, hosted by Kulturvermittlung Steiermark in September 2016.
