Murder Jazz Reunion is a collaboration of musicians from Germany, Hungary, Austria and Thailand. The band was formed in 2016 in Graz (Austria) and developed its own style based on the hardbop vocabulary. In 2017 they won the 1st prize of the Žlilina International Jazz Contest (Slovakia). The performances consist of original compositions as well as Songbook-Tunes and deal with the well established Quintet-Sound in a innovative way. They are achieved massive success in Austria, as well as success at various international concerts.
